The Russian Ministry for Health and Social Development and the Federal Medical-Biological Agency of Russia initiated by LG Electronics will hold in April a number of donorship events to support the Promotion Program of mass free blood and its components donation. 8 Russian cities will host the donorship campaigns in the framework of the project “Train of innovations and good deeds” the implementation of which became possible due to the partnership with the project’s organizers – Ministry of Sport, Tourism and Youth Policy of the Russian Federation, the Russian Olympic Committee, OAO “Russian Railways” public corporation and Fund to Support Sport, Tourism and Youth Initiatives “Open possibilities”.

The mobile blood transfusion station worked on March 15 at the building of the Tyumen State University. This is the fourth time the campaign of mobile blood donation takes place in Tyumen. The students and professors of the Law, Economics and Management Institute donated blood.

From February 24, 2012, applications for the prize “Compassion” are accepted from the organizations engaged in blood donation. The annual prize “Compassion” (hereinafter – the Prize) was founded by the non-profit fund “National Fund of Healthcare Development” and the Coordination Center for organization, development and promotion of voluntary blood donation of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation in 2012 to discover and adopt the best practices of implementation of blood donation projects.
