It reminds us that the need for donated blood is constant, it does not depend on either the pandemic or the time of year, and there is no effective replacement for donated blood yet: only a person with a truly responsive heart can become a donor. We sincerely wish that as many organizations in Moscow as possible join the marathon, and the National Fund for Healthcare Development will provide the organizers of donor campaigns with resource, information, and consulting support” - Elena Stefanyuk, the Director of the National Fund for Healthcare Development, Deputy Chairman of the Coordinating Council on Blood Donation at the Public Chamber Russian Federation.
At the end of the marathon, the participants - organizations and initiative groups - will be awarded diplomas and badges "Participant of the donor movement - 2021", and those who organized more than two donor events - memorabilia "Thank you for the lives saved!"
The events are held under the social project “Donation out of season. Development of regular blood donation in the capital", which is implemented by the National Fund for Healthcare Development with the support of the Committee for Public Relations and Youth Policy of the city of Moscow.
