But human is real and blood donation will always be required, as it was 100 years ago, when the donor movement has just started. I am proud, that Civic Chamber has been supporting the movement for 9 years” – Valeriy Fadeev, secretary of Civic Chamber.
“Donor’s event is like a test that shows the morale of Russian society. If people are ready to come and donate blood, unaddressed, in the name of a greater good, in the interests of the whole society, it means that everything is fine and the moral diagnosis of society is high, good, healthy” - Alexander Kibovsky, the Government Minister of Moscow, head of the Culture Department of Moscow, who also took part in Donor’s day at the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation.
“The Civic Chamber has traditionally supported donor initiatives for several years. The donor movement grows and develops every year: someone becomes a donor, someone becomes a participant of the donor movement. Today, a very large number of people took part in the event, and we are glad that there are such active and compassionate people in our country” - Elena Stefanyuk, director of the National Fund for Healthcare Development, deputy head of the Coordination Center for Blood Donation
All who came, not only could donate blood, but also participate in escape game dedicated to donor movement in Moscow, solve a cross-word puzzle about blood and its components, play “Prepare breakfast for donor” game and enjoy other activities.
