Oil pipeline company volunteers joined the ranks of regional donors in Krasnoyarsk

Employees of the joint-stock company «Transneft - Western Siberia» took part in the donor event within the «30 good deeds» action.

The total number of participants was 129. It was held in all branches of the joint-stock company «Transneft - Western Siberia» and was timed to the 30th anniversary of the «Transneft». In total, donors donated more than 58 litres of blood and its components. Many of the company’s employees are regular participants of the voluntary donor movement, and the number of volunteers increases each time.

«Blood donation was organized in the clinic of the head office of the enterprise. It is very convenient and I hope that it will become a good tradition. I have a fairly rare blood type - AB. I believe that my blood will certainly be useful, maybe even save someone’s life», - told the head of the fire department of «Transneft - Western Siberia» Roman Zyukov.

Specialist of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Blood Center №1 Svetlana Pakuleva thanked employees of the Krasnoyarsk branch of the enterprise for a responsible life stance. She noted that cooperation between blood services and donors on a regular basis allows timely replenishment of the blood bank and its components.

Corporate volunteer donor movement among oil transport workers was organized in 2021. From 2021 to 2023, 452 volunteers became participants of donor actions, they gave 202 liters of blood.

Ivanovo Welcomes Grand Opening of State-of-the-Art Rosplasma Center with FMBA Deputy Head Mikhail Ratmanov in Attendance

On May 27, Ivanovo welcomed the opening of a new modular plasma center under Russia’s Federal Medical-Biological Agency (FMBA), marking a key milestone in the implementation of the Concept for Increasing Plasma Blood Collection for Pharmaceutical Production. Developed by the FMBA under the directive of the President and the Russian Government, the strategy was approved on February 9, 2023, by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. The new facility will have an annual capacity of over 30 tons of blood plasma.

Russia’s Biggest Companies Join Forces with FMBA to Celebrate National Donor Day

Leading up to national donor day on april 20, a nationwide awareness campaign took place across Russia. In the week starting April 14, 2025, blood donation centers across Russia hosted a series of events to raise awareness about blood, blood component, and bone marrow donation. These events offered the public a chance to attend lectures, take part in tours, join workshops and open discussions with medical professionals, connect with experienced donors, and, most importantly, make their own donations. Participants learned more about the donation process and heard real stories from people whose lives were saved thanks to donors.
