The Krasnoyarsk company Komandor hosted the 17th donor marathon «Tradition of sharing kindness»

The donor campaign of the trading network «Komandor» «Tradition of sharing kindness» was first held in the company in the fall of 2015.
«The Donor Marathon «Tradition of sharing kindness» is already an integral part of our corporate culture. We hold it twice a year for the 17th time. Such measures are necessary for the timely replenishment of the Blood Center's stocks. It's nice that every year the number of people indifferent to someone else's misfortune is growing. Not only regular donors, but also newcomers with colleagues join the donor relay race. Our employees are united in one desire - to help those who need it vitally» - Dmitry Bolotov, head of the communication center of the Komandor company.
Together, in half a day, they managed to collect 23 liters of blood. Each participant of the marathon has his own path to donation. Among them there are both beginners and honorary donors.
«Today I became a donor for the 57th time. The first time I came to donate in 2017, and in three years I received the status of an "Honorary Donor" - I donated blood, plasma and platelets. I am not going to stop, I will be a donor as long as my health allows and as long as sick people need my blood. Donation does not prevent me from playing sports professionally. I am a candidate master of sports in powerlifting, I constantly participate in competitions» - Alexey Vorsin.
Most of the marathon participants donate blood regularly, at least twice a year.
When I was in the 10th grade, a girl from the parallel class had a terrible tragedy. Her parents died in a car accident, and she miraculously survived. To save her, we went with volunteers from other classes to donate blood. So began my story as a donor. Since then I regularly donate blood, after the donation I feel just fine. To those who are afraid, but want to become a donor I can say one thing: «You should not be afraid, but go and do». Try to give blood at least once, and then think further. Kindness will save the world!» - Elena Khripunova.
Victoria Bespalova took part in the marathon for the first time, but she wanted to become a donor for a long time.
«In my life, I had already four surgeries, my mother had a blood transfusion, so a few years ago I thought that donor blood is always needed, and everyone may need it at any moment. No one is immune from accidents, misfortunes and illnesses. It is very important to replenish donor blood stocks in a timely manner so that doctors do not have to choose who to save. Earlier I could not become a donor, because I weighed 47 kilograms and could not gain weight up to the mark of 50 kg allowed by the doctors. After giving birth, the weight increased, and now I was finally able to realize my dream and start helping people! I endured the first donation perfectly, did not faint, there was no weakness, so now I will continue to donate blood» - Victoria Bespalova.

Most people know very little about donation and therefore trust the most unreasonable myths...
