Donors Square was opened in Krasnoyarsk in honor of the 85th anniversary of the Blood Service of the Krasnoyarsk Territory

The opening of the Donors Square in Krasnoyarsk took place as part of the 85th anniversary of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Blood Service. The ceremony was attended by honorary donors of Russia, representatives of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Blood Center No. 1, volunteers and caring citizens. Sergey Ivanov, Chairman of the Public Chamber of Demographic and Social Development of the Civil Assembly of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, congratulated the participants of the ceremony on this significant event.

The history of the square began five years ago. In 2016, by the initiative of honorary donors of Russia, volunteers of the All-Russian student rescue corps and specialists of the Patriot city youth military sports center, a solemn laying of a "time capsule" was held in the park with a message from donors to the future generation. It is planned to get the capsule and open it in 15 years, by the 100th anniversary of the regional blood service.

“This year, thanks to the selfless support of the partners of the Blood Service and benefactors, the square has radically changed, it has become modern and attractive for the citizenships. The territory was landscaped, colorful stands with information about the historical path of the regional Blood Service, benches were installed. A symbolic heart was installed in the central part of the exposition” - the publication says.

At the solemn ceremony, warm words and wishes were addressed to those who made Krasnoyarsk a landmark place for all participants in the donor movement.

Letters of gratitude from the Ministry of Health of the Krasnoyarsk Territory were presented to the management of the Krasnoyarsk City Park, the Regional Office of the All-Russian Organization Urban Renovations in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Stimex group of companies and the Childhood Territory Charitable Foundation.

Head of the Resource Center for Blood Donation in the Siberian Federal District, Chairman of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Branch of the All-Russian Student Rescuers Corps Vladimir Shastin awarded with a silver breastplate "For Contribution to the Development of Donation of the Krasnoyarsk Territory" Natalia Filina, the head physician of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Blood Center No. 1, Vladimir Bondarchik, Vladislav Vlasov and Semyon Sendersky, honorary donors of Russia, as well as Viktor Paulin Chairman of the Public Coordination Council for Donation, Vladimir Vopilov General Director of the Stimex Group of Companies and Valentina Bulankova, Director of the Patriot City Youth Military Sports Center.

Letters of gratitude from the Regional Blood Service and souvenirs were presented to activists of the “Learn about donation” grant project from among the students of the Krasnoyarsk Assembly College and students of the Krasnoyarsk Secondary School No. 34. Volunteer support was provided by volunteers of the Donation Resource Center - students of the Pharmaceutical college named after V.F. Voino-Yasenetsky.
