September 26, students of the Doctor of Public Administration (DPA) at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA), as well as students of the Institute of Public Service and Management together with representatives of the project «Donor Leaders» got acquainted with the activities of the FMBA Russian Blood Center.

«The Blood Center of FMBA Russia becomes a place of attraction for leaders of society. It is good to see that the topic of donation has gone beyond medical boundaries. Today, when we talk about donation, we are talking more about people, about the donor movement and about the importance of this phenomenon as an integral part of a society based on mutual aid», said Olga Makedonskaya, acting director of the FMBA Blood Center.

Tigran Zanko, Director of the DPA program and winner of the "Leaders of Russia" competition in 2020, is confident that donation is a social area that unites people and demonstrates each person's concern for the fate of their country.

«The students of the program «Doctor of Public Administration» (DPA), which are representatives of different levels of government, as well as heads of organizations, undergo educational modules devoted to various spheres of public administration. In advance of the launch of the module on social state issues, civil society, we considered it essential to hold an event at the Blood Center of the Federal Medical-Biological Agency. This is not only the blood donation, but also acquaintance with the work of the Center, and holding a strategic session aimed at developing youth donation, corporate donation, as well as social support measures, and possibly legislative initiatives, which may be born in the process of strategic session», - says Tigran Zanko.

Before the strategic session, guests of Blood Center of FMBA Russia were able to get acquainted with the institution not only as part of the tour, but also as real donors. Many of them donated blood, giving a part of themselves for the good of life.
