Network of the Russian resource center for the organizers of the donor movement is receiving general logotype

It symbolizes community of caring people united by the desire to develop donation in Russia by the civil society. Aims of the resource center’s work are cooperation in donation blood, support of civil initiative, provision of information methodological support to non-profit organizations, initiative groups participating in donors’ movement and propaganda of healthy lifestyle, informational, analytical and expert activities.

“With the assistance of Economic Development of Russia and the Coordination Center for blood donation at the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation and within the framework of “Interregional Resource Center of socially oriented Non-Profit Organizations” resource centers in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Astrakhan, Krasnoyarsk, Rostov-on-Don, Tambov and Chelyabinsk have been already opened. Resource centers work in partnership with the institutions of Blood Service on the basis of regional socially oriented non-profit organizations. General logotype of resource centers or the organizers of the donor movement emphasizes that all resource centers have basic information and methodological base, as well as developed technology of effective work with donors and volunteers”, said Elena Stefanyuk, the Director of the National Health Development Fund, the Deputy Head of the Coordination Center for blood donation at the Public Chamber of Russia.

“Interregional Resource Center of socially oriented Non-Profit Organizations” project is being implemented by the National Health Development Fund using the state support funds allocated as a subsidy in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia from October 24, 2014, № 678.

Veronika Skvortsova and Tatyana Dyakonova Launch Educational Expedition to Promote Donorship Among Youth

On August 20, Head of the Federal Medical-Biological Agency (FMBA) Veronika Skvortsova and Chair of the Elbrus Russian Leaders Club Tatyana Dyakonova launched an educational expedition aimed at creating modern, effective approaches to encouraging blood and bone marrow donation among young people. The two leaders wished the teams success in shaping youth-centered strategies for building a strong donor culture.
