The Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrates Plant hold a donor campaign «Thank you, donor!»

Employees of the Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrates Plant took part in a traditional donor event, organized by the trade union.

«Thank you donor!» event took place at the Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrates Plant. The company has been holding such events since 2010, when the trade union offered Novosibirsk Blood Centre to organize a day of donor in the company for the first time. The event is supported and appreciated by employees.

Since that, the Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrates Plant in collaboration with the Novosibirsk Blood Centre holds the days of donor at least two times a year annually.

More than 57 employees came to donate blood, mostly members of the union, only 38 of them were allowed to donate blood after the medical inspection. As a result, more than 18 liters of blood were collected.

Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrates Plant is one of the few industrial plants that regularly organize such kind of event.

Specialists of the Novosibirsk Blood Centre noted, that the way the process was being organized stimulated people to demonstrate their civic and social responsibility. Blood transfusion station operated at the trade union building. Members of the union administration actively participated in the event – provided donors with convenient conditions, recorded participants.

Thanks to donors there are being produced such medications as platelet mass for patients with leukemia and blood plasma, which is widely used in blood diseases treatment and in burn treatment. The blood that cannot be transmitted to the medical centers will become a material for science researches, which is also a very important issue for medicine.
