Moscow State Institute of International Relations held a "Donor Day"

Spring "Donor Day" took place on March 14 at the university, initiated by MGIMO’s clinic with the support of Student Union. About 120 students and employees took part in donor drive.
Traditionally, MGIMO holds "Donor Day" every semester. Before blood donation everyone has to undergo mandatory medical examination. Doctors check health, measure blood pressure and ask about past illnesses and injuries. In addition, it is necessary to fill in a questionnaire indicating passport and contact data for participation.
There were many students near the Winter garden from the morning. Among participants – regular donors and those who decided to donate blood for the first time. It should be noted that there were no queues and other inconveniences thanks to coordinated work of clinic’s employees. Everyone had an opportunity to do a kind deed and donate blood for people in need.
Every year the number of students and employees who want to donate blood increases, which is undoubtedly an encouraging tendency. Organizers of the event express their gratitude to all participants for unindifference, sympathy and generous desire to do good!
