On August, 2 2017 a Day of donor will be held in the N. A. Nekrasov Central Universal Research Library in the framework of the II Moscow donor marathon "Reach out to hearts".

Responsible, mobile, welcoming – these are the qualities that blood donors always identify in volunteers who work on donor drives. These people will be very important for the Moscow Resource Center on August, 2 in the N. A. Nekrasov Central Universal Research Library.

To help to arrange the venue, to guide the participants through the donor route, give instructions about behavior after donation, tell about the public events "Donor Breakfast" and "Donor Gift Exchange", introduce the exhibition of books and magazines about blood donation – these are the main tasks for volunteers on August, 2.

Like all other participants of the event, volunteers will see the concert program prepared by the Center for Culture and Leisure "Academic".

Volunteers will have records in the volunteer book and assistance in its obtaining if needed. Volunteer experience, including donor drives, is preferable, but not mandatory: all volunteers receive instructions.

The organizers of the event are the Moscow Resource Center for Blood Donorship and the National Health Development Fund with the assistance of the Department of Culture of Moscow.

The event is held within the framework of the program "Development of a regular responsible blood donorship and its components as an element of volunteer activity of citizens of Moscow", implemented by the National Fund for Health Development due to subsidies from the Moscow city budget, received as a result of the contest arranged by Public Relations Committee for socially-oriented non-profit organizations.
