The All-Russian Forum of Blood Service took place in Kazan

On December 1, in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, the X All-Russian Forum of the Blood Service was held. The results of the implementation of the development package in 2017 were summed up at this forum.

At the forum, the participants discussed the results of the work of the federal communication program of the Blood Service and the prospects for interaction with the donor contingent, and also examined the status and dynamics of the development of blood donation and its components in the Russian Federation.

At the plenary session, the deputy head of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia, Maxim Zabelin, as well as the director of the Russian Research Institute of Hematology and Transfusiology of the FMBA of Russia, Chechetkin Alexander Viktorovich and Vrio Director, Chief Physician of the Blood Center of FMBA Russia Golosova Sofia Alexandrova. Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan Vafin Adel Yunusovich shared with the participants of the Forum a strategy for the development of public health in the Republic.

In the course of the plenary session, the ceremony of awarding the departmental decoration was held - the medal of the FMBA of Russia «For Promoting the Donor Movement» of representatives of companies, institutions and organizations actively contributing to the donor movement, as well as the awards of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan honorary Russian donors actively contributing to the donor movement of the region.

At the end of the award ceremony, Elena Ivanovna Stefanyuk, director of the National Fund for Health Development, deputy head of the Coordination Center for Blood Donation under the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, congratulated Deputy Head of the FMBA of Russia Maxim Zabelin on the Agency's 70th birthday and presented a memorable gift in the form of a glass drop of blood.

The culmination of the anniversary X All-Russian Blood Service Forum was the solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the All-Russian competition of professional skills in 2017. The main objective of the Competition is to encourage and further motivate employees of Blood Service institutions who have demonstrated special successes and best performance in working with donors. The jury announced the winners in 5 categories:

In addition, within the solemn part of the Forum, the winner of the All-Russian competition for the creation of the logo of the Automated Transfusion Information System took place, and applications were accepted for the period from June 1 to August 31, 2017. The main award of this contest was a departmental badge of the Federal Medical Biological Agency - the medal «For Assistance to the Donor Movement».
