Band Khaki supports voluntary blood donation!
Members of the band: Ilya Samitov – singer, Max Leonidov – guitar/singer, Alexander Makarov – keyboard, Denis Turlayev – bass, Vladimir Zherebtsov – drums, Vel Krayal – guitar/singer.
The band’s songs are in constant rotation of more than 100 large radio stations in 500 Russian cities and get top positions in hit-charts. The band’s videos are broadcast by all major Russian music channels (MUZ-TV, RU-TV, Musyka Pervovo, etc.). The band gave their first concert on 30 November 2008. In spring 2009, Khaki released their first video of “Otpusti” (Let me go). In only few weeks after the song was released on the radio, the video of “Otpusti” was showed by MUZ TV channel on 20 May 2009.
In early summer 2009 the band released demo-single “Tayna” (Mistery), which contained three songs and a video. 30,000 copies were bought immediately. The first lucky ones to get it were the audience of the festival “Rock-line” in Perm, and then audience and participants of many festivals and concerts in different cities Khaki visited in summer 2009.
In August 2009, in the suburbs of Vyborg they were shooting a video of “Padayu” (Falling) featuring a star of “Smekh bez pravil” (Laugh with no rules) and “Uboinaya liga” (Crushing league).
On 14 November 2009 Khaki sang at the concert in Luzhniki before the play-off match of FIFA World Cup 2010to support the Russian national football team. The same day the song “Deja vu” was started on the radio. And on 4 December the video of “Deja vu” has its “opening night” on RU-TV channel.
2 years later the band ‘”Khaki” gains popularity and their song “Ona poyot” (She sings) sounds from radio sets all over the country.
