The Contest “MUZARTERIA” doesn’t have limits – everybody have the same cause and it doesn’t matter whether you are a student or a celebrity!
Yulia Mikhalchik was born on 2 February 1985 in Slantsy, Leningrad region. Still in school she begins participating in various musical contests.
In August 2003 she arrives in Moscow to semifinal of the musical contest “Russian Debut” (in the framework of the festival “Yuzhnye nochi”). One of the judges there was Alexander Shulgin who offered Yulia to participate in the casting of “Star factory-3”. Eventually, Yulia became one of the finalists at “Factory”, and took 3rd place. There she recorded and performed her first hits – “Ну здравствуй, Питер” (Piter, hello), “Птица” (Bird), “Голоса” (Voices), “Письмо” (Letter), “Боле Сих Любы”, “La Mia Anima” and “Время” (Time) (feat. A. Kireyev) – thanks to which she became one of the favorite contestants.
On 20 November 2005 Yulia Mikhalchik got the people’s award “Zolotoy Grammofon” (Gold Gramophone) at VI Annual Awarding Ceremony “Russkoye Rdio Saint-Petersburg”!
On 9 February 2006 a very important event took place in Yulia’s artistic life – her first album “Если придет зима” (If winter comes) which became a bestseller. In September 2006 Yulia took grand-prix of the 2nd All-Russian Festival of young artists “FIVE STARTS”.
In 2011 within the framework of implementation of the State Promotion Program of blood and its components donation which has been implemented by the Russian Ministry of Health and Social Development and the Federal Medical-Biological Agency since 2008, the Contest “MUSARTERIA” is held in which Yulia Mikhalchik is taking part.
“The more we will speak about lack of donor blood, especially from the TV, by words and weighty arguments, show it by personal examples of celebrities the more attention we will attract to this problem, - says Yulia. The project is no doubt important. The Contest “MUZARTERIA” has no limits– everybody have the same cause and it doesn’t matter whether you are a student or a celebrity! The bigger it becomes the more use will bring. You can speak of course but better just go and donate blood”.

Most people know very little about donation and therefore trust the most unreasonable myths...
